Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-30
By using VeloAI you accept these terms. The service is provided by Luca Remiddi, Via Novella 48, 27030 Zinasco Vecchio (PV), Italia.
1. The service
VeloAI generates route suggestions for road, gravel and mountain bikes from the available map data, with estimates of elevation, time, safety and weather and an explanation text written with the help of an artificial intelligence model.
2. Routes are suggestions: safety is your responsibility
- Tracks and safety, time and weather estimates are indicative and may contain errors: closed roads, roadworks, a surface different from expected, real traffic, access bans or private property are not always known.
- Before leaving, check the route and the conditions, obey the highway code and signs, and adapt the ride to your fitness and your bike. The Everesting feature and long rides require excellent physical condition: if in doubt, consult a doctor.
- Fountains are mapped by volunteers on OpenStreetMap and may be missing or out of order: always carry enough water.
- The AI-written text may contain inaccuracies.
3. Accounts
Some features need an account. Provide correct data, keep your password safe and do not give your account to others. You can delete it at any time from the app. You can also use the app as a guest, with limited features.
4. Usage limits and plans
The free version has a limit of 3 route generations per day and technical daily limits to protect the service. Paid plans may be offered in the future: prices, duration and conditions will be shown in the app before purchase, and subscriptions will be handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own payment, renewal and refund rules.
5. Proper use
You may not use the service for unlawful activities, to overload it or get around its limits, to extract data automatically or resell it, or to enter offensive or illegal content.
6. Intellectual property and third-party data
The app, its name and appearance belong to Luca Remiddi. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence); routes are calculated with OpenRouteService; forecasts come from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0 licence). You keep the rights to the photo and notes you enter and authorise us to use them only to provide you with the service.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is” and depends on third-party services: it may be interrupted or changed. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for damages arising from using routes without the checks described above. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, or consumers’ mandatory rights.
8. Termination and suspension
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, your rights and the courts provided by the law of your country of residence remain valid.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date is at the top and for important changes we will notify you in the app. Questions: veloai.eu@gmail.com.
